Executive Director Daniel Chacon has served the foundation in leadership roles in burn prevention and survivor services since 2010. Experiencing the workings of the foundation from the ground up, Daniel brings this deep experience to his role as Executive Director. Prior to joining the foundation, he was a seasonal firefighter with Cal Fire and worked as a high school teacher.
Daniel is dedicated to the mission and vision of AARBF. He is active in the burn community and a frequent presenter at community conferences (for the American Burn Association, SafeKids Worldwide, the International Association of Burn Camps, the American Camp Association, and Phoenix Society World Burn Congress).
