Volunteers have an extremely vital role in the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. Many of our programs could not run without the dedication and talent of our volunteers.

It’s important that you know what would be expected of you if you decide to become one of AARBF’s valuable volunteers. The Volunteer Handbook will walk you through the AARBF’s volunteer program, including its volunteer orientation, training opportunities, organizational expectations, and a volunteer’s bill of rights. It also includes the organization’s current volunteer needs in a section titled, “Volunteer Job Descriptions,” beginning on page 3.

If you’d like to move forward with volunteering at AARBF after reviewing the Volunteer Manual, download the Volunteer Application below, complete it and email it to info@aarbf.org. Your application will be forwarded to your nearest regional office and you’ll be contacted within 30 days.

Volunteer Appreciation

The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation is honored to work with so many talented and dedicated volunteers. We strive to find ways to show our appreciation in all interactions, but one week each year we highlight a select group of volunteers who have gone above and beyond to help further the mission of the foundation. We share the accomplishments of these special volunteers during National Volunteer Appreciation Week (third full week in April), by presenting them with awards in the following categories: Administration (3 recipients), Burn Survivor Services (3 recipients), Fundraising (3 recipients), Burn Prevention (3 recipients), People’s Choice, Community Partner and the Ruch Family Circle Award. We encourage you to scroll through the gallery below and learn more about our fabulous volunteers!
