April 15, 2021 – June 9, 2021

Formally known as the Bows for Dough and Grow Your Stache fundraiser is now the Champy-on challenge! You can select what team you would like to be a part of.
Choose your challenge; Bows, Stache or Champy-on!

It is the 6th anniversary for our annual “Bows for Dough Fundraiser”, the 12th anniversary of “Grow Your Stache Fundraiser” and 1st year of the “Champy-on Fundraiser” and this year it will be a bit different for us all. We are heavily supported through this fundraiser by volunteers, community partners and by medical professionals such as; burn unit nurses, physical therapists, doctors. This year it will be harder on them to be able to support AARBF because they are needed more than ever during this pandemic, their mission is to make sure we are safe and cared for.

Are you able to help AARBF and your fellow medical teams out? Help raise funds for the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation during our 8 week fundraiser starting April 15th and ending June 9th. You are able to sport an AARBF BowMustache or Champy Pin to spread awareness. Your bow or pin will be provided by AARBF once you register and raise your first $50!

Create or join a team and encourage your friends, family, community, camp counselors, medical professionals, new counselor training class and firefighters to participate and donate here online!

Create or join a team today! Click “Join”! (Make sure to note what kind of team you would like to be this year; ex. Bows, Stache or Champy-on!)

Fresno Urban Run

May 1, 2022

Firefighters from the Hanford Fire Department and students from the Fresno City College (FCC) & College of the Sequoias (COS) Fire Academies will be running the Fresno Urban Run this year, on Sunday May 1st, in their full turnouts and gear to benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation and Champ Camp 2022! Donate to your team of choice and help these young men and women raise money for a great cause!

Starting inside of Chukchansi Park, they will be put to the challenge of climbing every step from the bottom to the top of the stadium, followed by a run up a 6-story circular garage and then down an adjacent 6-story circular garage, proceeded by a 1 mile run down Fulton Street to the Tuolumne Overpass (Urban Hill), before the final challenge, climbing 220 stairs to the top of a 10-story building, The Grand Tower, where the timing sensor will stop the clock! Overall length of the Urban Run is approx. 3 Miles.  Participants are released to begin one at a time with 3 to 5 seconds between each runner.  First runner will be released at 8:00am.

Golf Tournaments

AARBF’s supportive community partners host golf tournaments around California as large annual events to help support our mission, resources, and events.

Host a Fundraiser

Do you want to support the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation by hosting a fundraiser? First and foremost, have fun! Raising money is fulfilling and can be fun if everything is well-planned. More than 50 organizations and individuals are currently hosting fundraisers on behalf of AARBF, ranging from pancake breakfasts and car shows to golf tournaments and firefighter burn relays. Any event can become a fundraiser—even a dinner at your house.

Organizations and individuals host fundraising events to raise awareness for AARBF and funds for the services and programs AARBF offers to burn survivors and the community. Your event donation can raise funds for one program, like Champ Camp, or all the burn survivor services and burn prevention education programs in your community.
