Does your child, or a child you know, play with fire? Youth Fire Setting programs throughout California provide fire safety education and intervention to children with an interest in fire or explosives, and to those who have been involved in a firesetting incident. In situations where the behaviors or concerns appear to be more serious, YFS programs may offer referrals for a behavioral health evaluation with an experienced behavioral health professional.
