Meet the Johnsons: A Fire and Burn Safe Family. Written by Jennifer Radics-Johnson.
On January 6, AARBF hosted a virtual yoga led by Dr. J, Poindexter and Sunflower. We appreciate our instructors for leading this session and thank our participants for joining us!
In a year full of firsts, we ended it with our first Virtual Holiday Party on Friday, December 11, with more than 360 burn survivors & their families!
In celebration of this anniversary, we are working on putting together a commemorative coffee table book that will include 50 stories….YOUR stories! These will be stories from burn survivors, volunteers, firefighters, nurses, educators, donors, family members, friends…everyone who has made AARBF what it is today!
Each year, the first full week of October is dedicated to Fire Prevention Week. This year’s national theme was “Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen.” Although kitchen safety is a very important topic, especially in recent months with so many people spending more time at home and preparing their own meals, it is not the most important issue facing California.
