Day 2 – Virtual Getaway Family Camp

Welcome back families!!!  Today is Day 2 in our three-day virtual camp.

Today we have put together several videos for you and your family. The first series of videos is going to be about seeing the burn injury through the eyes of each family member, with awesome personal stories from our Burn Community. The second is a video from James Bosch, licensed Family and Marriage Therapist, on reoccurring topics he has heard on each perspective, and suggestions on how to continue your healing journey.

Tonight is Family Pizza Night! Enjoy that Dominos pizza on us. Also, a possible Jenga night if you have time before tonight’s Live Official Kick-off at 7:00pm PST via Zoom.

After our kick-off, we will be hosting an hour Burn Survivor only Support Group. All Attendees must be 18yo or older!

Also don’t forget we want to see your picture of you opening the box, using the items in the box, and you participating in all the activities. We will choose 5 winners for best photo at Saturday’s Camp Fire and they will receive a special prize. Send all pictures to Apollo: dchacon@aarbf.org. Or post them on Instagram / Facebook with the following Hashtags:
