The Retreat 2019

The Retreat provides a survivor-driven program allowing the opportunity for approximately 20 adult burn survivors to learn about their healing process and their journey as a burn survivor.
The Retreat is for adult burn survivors 21+ and is an intensive weekend, developed by burn survivors for burn survivors, and includes workshops, support groups and promotes healing, self-discovery and socialization. It is hosted at Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria, CA over President’s Day Weekend.
The Retreat Adult Burn Camp provides:
A safe place for burn-injured adult to get away from the stares and unwanted attention associated with being burned;
A loving and supportive family atmosphere that helps soothe the potentially devastating emotional and physical pain a burn injury;
An opportunity to meet others who have been through a similar experience and to be part of new and challenging activities together; and
A program that ensures that adult burn survivors have a great time!
