AARBF joined an amazing community event on April 12th, the fourth annual County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LACoFD) SIRENS OF SILENCE event, “Special Day with First Responders.” We spent the day with many other organizations dedicated to autism and special needs awareness and acceptance. This event was a time for families to engage with first responders in a sensory-friendly environment. AARBF’s Martha Banks was delighted to share our N.I.C.K. for Fire and Burn Safety program and other prevention materials and programming available.
