Scott joined the staff in the fall of 2006. Previously, Scott was the Executive Director of an international not-for-profit called Wheels for Humanity. During his time with Wheels, he supervised a staff of eight, managed a $700,000 annual operating budget, and supported the Board of Directors in the creation of their first Strategic Plan (2006-2008).
Before that, Scott worked as the Development Director for one of the most respected arts organizations in the nation, Cornerstone Theater Company. Working with the Board of Directors and the Artistic Ensemble, Scott successfully secured a number of multi-year grants, consistently raised 91% of the company’s mid-sized budget, and increased the company’s corporate profile nearly 70% with the establishment of an annual fundraising event, the Bridge Awards.
Scott is also a freelance theater Director/Choreographer. In 2003, he was awarded a LA Weekly Award for Best Choreography in the revival of The Grapes of Wrath. Scott is a graduate of the UCLA.
