AARBF Bids a Fond Farewell and Adds New Faces

AARBF Bids a Fond Farewell and Adds New FacesThere have been quite a number of changes here at the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. In October 2007, Becky "Indigo" Selleck, San Francisco's administrative coordinator, left AARBF to pursue other endeavors. As a sidenote: Becky joined AARBF as a Champ Camp counselor for the Wrangler girls in 2008. In March of 2008, Zan Eisley, the Southern California Survivor Services Coordinator, exited the organization. In June of this year, Johanna "Chewy" Wilkie announced she had been accepted to graduate school and transitioned out in July. Also in July, Mimi "Spacey" Sabine announced her departure to follow her academic career toward her nursing degree. Following in August, Catie "Cat" Heringer accepted the opportunity to go back to school as well. Early in the summer, Margarita "Chippy"Rodriguez joined the staff as the Southern California Survivor Services Coordinator. Then, in July, Silvia Gutierrez came aboard as the Prevention Manager followed by Jason Bow in the Development Manager position. Also in July, Carolyn Falkenberg joined the Northern California staff as the Survivor Services Coordinator.

We salute all of those staff members that have given their time, energy and talent to support the mission of the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. Their hard work lives on in the lives of the people we serve. It is also truly a pleasure to welcome those new staff members, and we all look forward to a long working relationship.
