The 6th annual Hook & Ladder Ball will honor local firefighters in fun and original ways on Saturday, October 25, 2008. AARBF Achieves Huge Success with Scald Prevention Campaign

The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation ran a public safety awareness campaign this spring on preventing scalds to children under age 5 with great results: More than 4,100 scald prevention kits were distributed directly to caregivers.

August Deadline for Scholarships to World Burn Congress

Consider applying for a sponsorship to attend the World Burn Congress, an annual international conference sponsored by the Phoenix Society. The conference is a forum which encourages and facilitates the sharing of stories, providing support and increasing knowledge of burn recovery, for burn survivors, burn care professionals and firefighters.
