Beach Adventure Brings Sun and Surf
After seven days of heavy fog, the sun shone for the 10 burn survivors who enjoyed the 3rd Annual Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation's Central Coast Beach Adventure in Morro Bay, September 25-27, 2009.

The Roaring 20s came to life on October 3rd, kicking off National Fire Prevention Week in style at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. Over 140 guests were greeted at the 1920s era hotel by a trio of classic cars parked on Powell Street. with its theme: "Stay Fire Smart! Don't Get Burned."

Prevention Week, fire departments throughout San Luis Obispo County
run the Central Coast Relay - teaching fire prevention to
more than 6,500 children in 16 schools and raising funds for AARBF.
