Hook & Ladder is Blasting Into Town on October 15, 2011

On Saturday October 15, 2011, AARBF invites you to join us for the 10th Annual Hook & Ladder Ball - Blast from the Past! In honor of AARBF's 40th anniversary, we're encouraging guests to attend in formal attire from 1971-2011. The annual fundraising event will be held at the Marines Memorial Club (609 Sutter Ave, SF, CA 94102) from 6pm-11pm.  This year, AARBF will be honoring Lt. Aisha Krieger, San Francisco Fire Department, and Fire Engineer Jeff "Ricky Rescue" Martin, CALFire, as this year's recipients of the Hook & Ladder Award.  This award is given to those of the fire service who have shown a profound dedication to the community and mission of the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation more...

Monterey Bay Aquarium (April 30th & May 1st, Monterey California)

The Monterey Bay Aquarium trip was made possible with generous donations from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seashore Sleepover program and the Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel by the Sea Fire Departments. Twenty-four child burn survivors from Northern and Central California were treated to fire boat rides, BBQ, private behind-the-scenes tours and a magical sleepover under the kelp forest more...

The Annual Peninsula Firefighter Burn Relay was a huge success this year, bringing in donations of $30,695, with presentations from Mt. View and Menlo Park's pancake breakfasts and the Daly City poker tournament, raising the total to $64,829 more...
