Our
theme for Champ Camp 2011 was...EPIC.
The theme combined various types of literature and books with the
fun-filled camp activities in order to create an EPIC Champ Camp
experience for our campers. Part of the fun included literary
characters such as travel guides, mythological gods and goddesses,
comic book and action/adventure heroes, whimsical Dr. Seuss creatures,
and nursery rhyme animals popping out of a giant magical book to
surprise the campers over dinner. Counselors and counselors-in-training
dressed up each night to take part in the story-telling
