It's
the season of giving, and we know we can count on you.
Over this past
year, the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation has continued to
provide high quality services to burn survivors and burn prevention
education to the communities of California despite the
difficult economic times. Over the course of this recession, corporate
and institutional donations have significantly decreased, leaving
a gap in the resources needed to provide these services. Thus far,
this gap has been filled by dedicated, caring individuals such as
you. Can we count on your continued support of these vital
programs?
- A donation
of $750 would send one of the 130 burn injured children
we expect to Champ Camp next summer.
- A donation
of $350 would allow one young person to attend the
Young Adult Summit, a skill and confidence building
weekend for teen burn survivors facing the transition into adulthood.
- A gift of
$75 would support one burn survivor to participate
an annual recreational event and an opportunity to
interact with other survivors.
- A gift of
$25 would provide enough burn prevention activity books
for a classroom of 30 elementary kids.
We know that
we are standing strong because of you: dedicated volunteers, long-time
donors, and our unfaltering community supporters. You gave generously
in the past and we're so grateful for your support. We look to
you now to please remember AARBF during this holiday season with
a donation and, if at all possible, help us overcome our shortfall
by increasing your annual gift during our time of need.
Thank you for
being a hero to the burn survivors we serve. We are truly grateful
to have your support. Our best wishes for a bright and prosperous
new year!
