Supportive Services

AARBF provides emergency support for burn-injured children and adults, and families of burn survivors..

AARBF is a part of the burn recovery process from the start. We partner with 7 hospitals throughout California to provide outreach and support for the survivors and their families affected by this tragic injury. In addition to the services listed on our Survivor Services page, additional supportive services provided to survivors and their families include:

  • Self-help and peer-led support groups for burn survivors conducted at various locations throughout the state;
  • Emergency financial, food or transportation assistance for burn survivors and their families on a case-by-case basis (please contact your local office for more information about application process, availability of services by region, and time limitation to apply for services);
  • Assistance in connecting survivors to local, state and national resources.
